Bullying and Aggression : Growing Aggression among Victims of Bullying

Abstract
School bullying is a worldwide problematic behavior among child and adolescents. The types and characteristics of school bullying have been differed by time and culture. Bullying can be seen as a major expression of aggression among child and adolescents and has many types including physical, verbal, social and cyber bullying. Recently, prevalence of physical bullying is decreasing but social or cyber bullying, more hidden type, is increasing. Bullying is associated with multiple negative mental and physical health consequences. Aggression plays a role in mediating bullying in perpetrators and consequence in some victims of bullying. For effective prevention of bullying, intervention of aggression would be helpful.
